KOCHI: The Kerala High Court refused to intervene on the plea filed seeking permission to parade Thechikottukavu Ramachandran for Thrissur Pooram. The court said let the appropriate power centres examine it.
The court is of the stand that the monitoring panel led by Thrissur collector should take a decision. With this, a final decision on the ban will be taken by the state government.
The government had the other day asserted that a decision would be taken after the high court takes a decision. Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran had asserted that necessary steps will be taken after convening a meet.
