Consensus evolves at Govt.,Engineering managment talks

Monday, July 11, 2011: The talks held between government and the Engineering management associations on Monday in connection with the issues relating to the fee structure and admissions to the self-financing engineering colleges in state have made an agreement.
The engineering management associations have decided to give away 50 percent seats to the government. The meeting has also decided to retain the present fee structure, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said.
While the talks held between the government and the Inter Church Council in connection with the MBBS admission has not yet reached consensus and the meeting between them council will be resumed, Chandy said.
