Decision on student concession in buses after talks

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Transport Minister VS Sivakumar said the decision to hike student concession fares in private buses would be taken after having a Cabinet discussion. Though he held talks with student organizations on Friday, no decision was taken.

The representatives asked the minister not to increase the charge on student concession and make travel free till SSLC. Some of the student organizations also wanted to raise the travel limit from 40 kms to 70 kms.
