Monday, July 11, 2011: Opposition leader, VS Achuthanandan today lashed out at the UDF government in connection with the Munnar encroachment issue.Speaking to the reporters here on Monday, Achuthanandan alleged that the government had offered full support for the illegal encroachments in Munnar and other parts of Idukki. Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan’s statement that the illegal constructions in Govt land will not demolished, clearly indicates this, VS added.
Achuthanandan opined that the government had failed to take necessary measures to prevent the recent outbreak of fever in the state. The government had not realized the seriousness of the present crisis in the health sector.
