C P John new State Planning Board Member

Thiruvananthapuram: C P John of Communist Marxist Party(CMP) was appointed as the new non-official member of the Kerala Planning Board.

Chief Minister Ommen Chandy announced the decision while briefing Newspersons on today's Cabinet decisions here.

Mr T R Tikaram Meena would be the new Fisheries Secretary, Ratan Kelkar Director of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival and V P Joy would be given additional charge of Tax Secretary, he said.

Rs two crore was sanctioned for a parallel bride near Moidu bridge on National Highway in Kannur, he said.

Eighty-six acres of land was alloted for a judicial complex in Kotttayam, he added.
