Oommen Chandy violated oath of secrecy, says VS

Thursday, August 11, 2011: Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan on Thursday alleged that by seeking the legal advice of advocate general and public prosecutor in the palmolein case, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had violated the oath of secrecy.
He said the case against Chandy is not as CM but as former finance minister. So seeking such an advice is violation of oath of secrecy and misuse of power. By giving such an advice, AG and public prosecutor had also violated the oath.
VAchuthanandan said that he had never discussed politics with Berlin Kunhananthan Nair when he visited him. VS also said that he is not endorsing the controversial statements made by Berlin too. He just made a visit to Berlin as he was unwell.
