Custody harrasment: HC flays Tomin Thachankari

Tuesday, September 20, 2011: The High Court came down heavily against IG Tomin Thachankarri in the Alappuzha custody harassment case. The accused are trying to purposefully delay the case in which Tomin is one among the accused, the court ruled.

Prakash from Punnapra had filed the case as Thachankarri, who was ASP in Alappuzha, had threatened the accused for the suicide of a lady who was Prakash’s neighbour. The investigation by the Crime Branch had clearly stated that Prakash had no role in the death.
