Court to consider Kunhanandan’s bail plea today

Monday, June 18, 2012: The Thalassery Sessions Court will hear the anticipatory bail petition moved by Panur area committee member P.K. Kunhanandan, an accused in the T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case today.
The petitioner said that he had no clue about the murder and denied allegations about his involvement in the murder. It further said that reports on the ‘mental and physical torture’ inflicted on those arrested in connection with the case had made Kunhanandan ‘stay away’ and that he was not ‘absconding.’
The petitioner told the court that he was ready to cooperate with the investigation.
