Titanium corruption case: Vigilance seeks 3 more time


Monday, June 25, 2012: Vigilance on Monday sought three more months time to to submit its report on Titanium corruption case. Vigilance has filed a request regarding this.
It is alleged that there was corruption in connection with the sanctioning of a project and purchase of equipment for Travancore Titanium Products Ltd during the tenure of the previous UDF government.
The allegations of corruption were raised in a petition filed by Jayan, a former employee, seeking a directive from the court to VACB to register an FIR and conduct proper investigation into the allegation of corruption and to ensure that the investigation is completed in a time-bound manner.
