Key accused in T.P murder case lands in police net

Friday, June 08, 2012: T K Rajeesh, the key accused in the gruesome murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party leader TP Chandrasekharan has landed in police net. Rajeesh is the master brain who plotted and coordinated the attack on the RMP leader.
Sources said Rajeesh has also been allegedly involved in plotting many political killings, including K T Jayakrishnan master and the double murder at New Mahe.
Police said he was picked up from a hideout in a village along the Maharashtra-Goa border. Rajeesh was on the run ever since the police spotted his hideout. Finally, he fell in the net at a house owned by his friend from Panur at a village in Maharashtra.
Rajeesh’s interrogation will be a crucial turning point in the case.
Rajeesh was entrusted with the task of eliminating Chandrasekharan after a series of attempts on his life failed. Police believe that Rajeesh was sent along with the team of assailants to ensure that the mission was accomplished at any cost on May 4.
After the murder, other members of the gang spent a night at the house of a labourer at Chokli while Rajeesh chose to stay at a luxury hotel in Koothuparamaba. He then left in a Tata Sumo for Mumbai where he used to work as a security man in a bar.
