Passengers protest at Kochi airport

NEDUMBASSERY: The passengers of flight AIX 814, coming from Dubai and bound to Mangalapuram Monday raised protest at Kochi airport against the route diversion of the flight from Manglapuram to Kochi due to incessant rain, official sources said. There were 174 passengers on board the flight.


The AI authorities, after the protest swung into action and made arrangements to take the passengers to Kozhikode in the same flight.


The passengers would be given facility to reach Mangalore by road, they added.
