Leader recruiting Keralites to ISIS killed in Kabul

KABUL: Rashid Abdulla, a native of Kasargod recruiting Keralites to ISIS is hinted to have been killed in an attack. National media reported that a telegram sent from Khorasan province of Afghanistan stated that he was killed in random bombing by US forces.

Though his death was reported earlier also, through a voice message he had denied it. The NIA had found that Rashid Abdulla, a native of Thrikkaripur used to recruit Keralites to the ISIS. There are reports that two men, two women and four children have been killed along with Rashid. 

The message of his death is circulating in ISIS Telegram Group. 21 from Kerala left to join ISIS in May 2016. Rashid was an employee of Peace International School set up by Salafi preacher M M Akbar.
