NEW DELHI: CPI (M) central committee has directed its Kerala sector to win back the support of devotees and take actions accordingly. The party have given a go-ahead for a work program in relation to this. The central committee has asked the Kerala sector to submit a report within three months after taking necessary actions to regain the faith of devotees which was lost in the Sabarimala issue.
The work program will be to get back the democratic base with the main aim to get back the vote bank. The Bengal sector of the party addressed their financial struggles to the central committee and this reflected in the elections. In the just-concluded Lok Sabha polls, CPI (M) suffered heavy defeats.
