Friday, September 09, 2011: The cultural procession which will mark the end of Onam week celebrations in the capital city on September 13 would have over 100 floats. As in previous years, art and dance forms of different states and districts and floats of various government, public sector institutions, co-operative and local self-government institutions will be part of the cultural procession.
Unlike other years, this year, prizes will be given for the best presentation in each category, i.e. Central, State Government, public sector, cooperative sector, local self-government, private sector and individual. Janashree and Kudumbashree units too can be part of the procession.
