State keen on Sreedharan’s services, says CM

 Wednesday, January 4, 2012: In connection with the Kochi Metro Project, the last words would be of E Sreedharan, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said.
Briefing the mediapersons after the weekly cabinet meet, Chandy said that Sreedharan can take a decision on inviting global tenders. The government has decided to fully make use of his service. The government is keen to enlist the services of Sreedharan in state’s other projects like High Speed Rail Corridor too.
No projects should be stopped after trapped in controversy, he said. The services of Sreedharan and the latest technique of DMRC are inevitable. The project aided by Japan Company is proposing global tenders. Priority is to implement the project at low cost.
