There were farmer suicides in state, says Antony

ALAPPUZHA: It’s true there were farmer suicides in Kerala, said Defence Minister A K Antony. The minister said that he is not aware on which situation the centre said there were no cases of farmer suicides in the state.


Nobody can hide the truth that many farmers have committed suicide in the state. Responding to centre’s affidavit that there were no farmer suicides, he said they may have not obtained an official confirmation on the suicides.
