Ganesh’s party in October

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the scenario of a compromise being improbable, the new parallel of Congress(B) is to be launched on October 9 under the chairmanship of minister K B Ganesh Kumar.


Ganesh’s group allegedly tries to establish themselves as the ‘real’ Congress(B) by the launch of the venture on October 9 which happens to be the founding day of Congress (B).


On return of the minister’s return from London on the eleventh of this month, discussions will take place about the important issues regarding the same.


The ad hoc committees formed in all districts except Kollam in support of Ganesh will be merged with the new venture in October.


All efforts of the UDF in bridging the drift between Balakrishna Pillai and Ganesh Kumar had been in vain.


Balakrishna Pillai lashed out against Ganesh in the state committee meet on Sunday with allegations of disrespect towards the party. He said that Ganesh has no association with the party.


Ganesh group alleges that the majority of the state committee is with them and that only 130 persons had attended Pillai’s conference out of which some are not members of the committee.
