THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three persons lost their lives in motor accidents in the district.An accident that happened in Vazhimukku in Balaramapuram on Tuesday morning claimed the life of Shalini (22) who was working as a nurse in PRS hospital.
Her collegue, Athulya (21), who was travelling with her survived with serious injuries. Their scooter had collided with a lorry and Shalini died on the spot.
On Monday evening, Anilkumar (38) lost his life when his motorbike collided with KSRTC low-floor bus at Kodinada.
His neighbour Vijayalal (26) suffered injuries. Both were taken to medical college hospital where Anilkumar succumbed to injuries.
Karthik Premlal (19), a student of Christian College, died in an accident in kattakkada.
His bike skidded on the way from his ancestral home in Kallikadu.
