Valakam case: CBI SP transferred

KOLLAM: CBI Thiruvananthapuram SP V K Reghu Kumar, who was leading the Valakam teacher attack case, was transferred to the anti-corruption wing in Chennai. SP Jose Mohan would replace him.When contacted, he refused to comment on any connection with the investigation of the case in the transfer. The transfer comes at a time when the CPM and opposition leader V S Achuthanandan raised allegations that the investigation team comprised officers who were closely associated with Kerala Congress (B)chairman R Balakrishna Pillai and those who studied at the RVVHS Valakam, owned by Pillai.
