Tuesday, July 12, 2011: The Kerala legislature has unanimously passed the bill to amend Kerala Paper Lotteries Act on Monday.According to the amendment, the lottery tax on ordinary draw of lots has been increased from 7 lakhs to 25 lakhs, and that of bumper lottery from 17 lakhs to 50 lakhs.
