Two RSS workers Sumesh and Shanmukham were injured as CPM and RSS activists clashed at Varanad, near Cherthala on Tuesday. Both were admitted to the medical college at Kottayam.
Five houses were damaged in the violence that followed. The incident is a follow up of the verbal dual between the two sides Monday evening.
