July 18, 2011: The Supreme Court today ruled that the CBSE schools that were denied No-objection certificates NOC by the state government could approach the High Court.
11 schools had approached Apex Court challenging the decision of the previous LDF government.
The court directed the state government to take a decision on the applications according to the new policy. With this the path has now been cleared for providing NOC to all the 11 schools as the state government is expected to take the same stand in the HC also.
