Kochi: The much awaited sequel for Avalude Ravukal, named Avalude Ravukal Pakalukal finally moved towards reality with the pooja being held here. The shooting of the movie is planned to commence from August. A famous South – Indian actress is expected to don the lead role in the movie.
Seema had played the lead role in Avalude Ravukal, which became a super hit. The movie directed by IV Sasi and released in 1978 carries the credit for the first movie with 'A' certificate in Malayalam cinema. The story revolves around 'Raji' – a prostitute.
Sequels has become the latest trend with Rathinirvedam, Neelathamara becoming big hits. The re-make of Inaye Thedi ia also in the making.
