 CPM secretariat decided to  seek explanation from  three of his personal staff members.  Additional private secretary VK Sasidharan, press secretary K Balakrishnan and personal assistant S Suresh have been asked to provide explanation  for allegedly leaking out party matters to the media.


The decision was taken  on the findings  of an inquiry commission  comprising   central committee members A Vijayaraghavan and Vaikkom Viswan.


 The  state committee  report  prepared in 2010 stating  that Achuthanandan’s  actions had  resulted in worsening the factional feuds and led to the disharmony within the government  resulting in its and the party’s sagging image  had been stayed by the central leadership. The state secretariat dominated by the official faction has sought the explanation  in an apparent move to sack  them from the posts. They have been asked to submit their reply within a week.
