Elaborate arrangements for Nehru Trophy Boat Race

Sunday, July 29, 2012: The Nehru Trophy Boat Race (NTBR) Society, which is organising the Nehru Trophy Boat Race, has made elaborate arrangements for the 60th edition of the race this year.


In connection with the diamond jubilee of the nehru trophy boat race, the race is to be made into a three day event this year. The snake boat race will be held on the second Saturday of August. Kayaking, canoeing, speed boat race and women’s special boat race will be new additions to the event.


The three-day event will kick off with the competitions of small boats and friendly race off snake boats. Kayaking, canoeing and competitions of speedboat will be held on the second day and the event will conclude with the snake boat race on the final day.
