AIYF members barges into minister’s residence

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: AIYF activists under the leadership of state committee member B S Biju barged into the official residence of Minister of Electricity Aryadan Mohammed in protest against the hike in power tariff.


A rebellious trio who evaded the notice of security guards reached near the car porch of Manmohan Bungalow in Kowdiar and shouted slogans in protest.


Members of the minister’s personal staff and youth congress took a combined effort in restricting their entry to the house.


Police, who reached within a short span of time, arrested the activists and cleared the scene.
