No more power to Kerala, says Venugopal
ALAPPUZHA: Union Minister of State for Power K C Venugopal said that it is impossible to give electricity to Kerala from the central pool.
He opined that if it is continued, other states may create trouble on the issue.
According to him, the hike in power tariff is the natural result of the extra expense incurred due to the necessity of having to buy electricity from external sources and the current rates have been fixed in a way that have the minimum possible effect on the common man.
