Police suspect murder

KOCHI: The City Police suspect that the man found dead in a lodge in the city on Wednesday was murdered. Sunil Kumar, 43, of Kadakkavoor, was found dead inside the room he had taken on rent at Mattummel near Thevara. Police said that he used to work for some time in Mumbai and was trading in shares here. He was last seen on Sunday and the lodge staff forced his room open on Wednesday to find him dead. His throat had been slashed and the room was locked from outside. A probe team was formed under G. Venu, Circle Inspector, Town South.
