Not opposed to Anna: Aruna

KOCHI: Noted socio-political activist Aruna Roy said that neither she nor her organization was against Anna Hazare's movement, but they were only opposed to certain proposals in the draft in the Lok Pal. Talking to reporters here she said judicial accountability must be there and there should be a system to protect the independence of the judiciary. 'If it is answerable to another system, the independence of the judiciary will go,' she opined. 'During our discussion with the Anna team we had put forth our views, but they were rejected, she said.
