SFI State Conference criticizes M.A. Baby

PALAKKAD: Former Education Minister and CPI (M) leader M.A. Baby was on Saturday criticized at the SFI State Conference here for his inability in solving various problems in the self-financing segment.


State Conference of SFI, the students’ wing of CPI (M), found that LDF government was just following the procedures of the UDF government concerning the self-financing issue. As a minister, Baby was unable to find solutions for the issues raised by various leftist student organizations.


The Conference also criticized the teachers’ organizations by accusing them of functioning only for gaining salaries as per UGC scale of pay.
