Farm worker goes missing

ALAPPUZHA: A farm worker who had gone to the Mangalamkayal padasekharam for bund construction went missing on Saturday. The police was alerted when Thankachan (54) of Kunnumma in Kavalam did not return till evening. When their search proved futile, the police in turn alerted the Fire force, who also could not locate Thankachan. The search was abandoned by late evening and will resume on Sunday morning, police said.
