New faces to lead SFI


PALAKKAD: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has been reshuffled by including some new faces in its State Secretariat on Sunday. The 16-member State Secretariat now has 13 new members.


J.S. Shiju Khan (Thiruvananthapuram) has been selected as the new President and T.P. Bineesh (Kozhikode) was selected as the new Secretary of the students’ organisation.


Shiju Khan, a student at Law Academy in Thiruvananthapuram, hails from Nedumangad.  He was a member of the last State Committee. Bineesh is a student of Kozhikode Law College. He is awaiting his results. Presently, he is the Kozhikode District Secretary of SFI.


The other office-bearers are: -


Vice Presidents: K. Sabish, Chinta Jerom, Sheethal David, R.S. Balamurali.


Joint Secretaries: Dhanya Vijayan, K. Rafeeq, M. Shajar, P.G. Subi Das.


Secretariat members: R. Rahul, P. Jiji, Anish M. Mathew, Ribin Shah, Dinesh Babu, Sarin Sasi,.


A 77-member State Committee has also been elected. The elections were conducted under the supervision of E.P. Jayarajan, who is in charge of SFI in CPI (M).
