Woman's leg trapped between concrete slabs in Thampanoor
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 60 year old woman passed through an ordeal on Saturday at Thampanoor Bus Station here when her right leg got trapped between concrete slabs.
The incident happened at 6.25 pm when Jerusamma, a native of Colachal in Tamil Nadu, was waiting for the bus to her home. She had come here to visit a relative’s house at Punthura. Her relatives were also with her at the Bus Station.
It took half an hour for the local people, policemen and fire force to pull her leg out. She was rushed to General Hospital and got admitted there.
