SNDP demands Social Economic Survey

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SNDP General Secretary Vellapalli Natesan demanded the government to conduct a Social Economic Survey in the state. Addressing a public programme here, Natesan said the government should conduct the Social Economic Survey to know the real social and economic status of the majority communities in the state. Alleging that government failed to deliver equal social status to all communities, irrespective of caste and religion, he said a majority of communities were sidelined in the development processes due to lack of political power and lack of unanimity among the majority communities.
