THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The special investigation team probing the solar panel scam case has got info that Biju Radhakrishna and Sarita S. Nair, the accused, had conned Rs. 6.5 crore from victims. The figure may rise with the completion of the probe, police says.
The police have collected evidence about the telephone calls made by Biju and Saritha to VIPs. Most of these VIPs have been cheated.
The special investigation team has decided to request Speaker to permit them to interrogate K.B. Ganesh Kumar in the solar panel case.
In her statement to ADGP A. Hemachandran, Saritha S. Nair had revealed that she and Ganesh were very close to each other, and that Ganesh had helped her in business. Besides, Biju’s revelation about Ganesh also put the latter in the shadow of suspicion.
The probe team has also decided a secret place for questioning Ganesh Kumar once permission is got from the Speaker.
