THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two including notorious criminal ripper Jayanandan escaped from the Poojappura Central Jail early Monday morning.
They escaped from jail after making two dummies using pillows and clothes in their cell to mislead the guards. Jayanandan is an accused in seven murder cases and 14 robbery cases.
Jayanandan is a native of Thrissur.
Jayanandan was sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering a woman from Vadakkekkara in 2011.
