ATTINGAL: A 50-year-old man was beaten to death by his younger brother and relatives at their family house last night. The dead has been identified as Surendran.
Even after he fell unconscious, his relatives refused to neither take him to the hospital nor inform his family. His brother Madhavan and relatives are absconding after the incident.
Surendran, who reached the family house, had a fight with his brother. When the situation turned worse, their relatives intervened. Seeing him lying on the ground, one of the neighbours informed his family. Though he was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
He leaves behind his wife Baby and children Soumya and Sajeev.
