Saritha S. Nair remanded till July 4

ALAPPUZHA: Saritha S. Nair, the second accused in the solar panel scam, was remanded to judicial custody till July 4 by Ambalappuzha Judicial First Class Magistrate on Friday. 

Saritha has been shifted to Kakkanad Sub Jail. The court will consider her bail plea on Monday.

Meanwhile, the investigation team has found that Saritha and Biju Radhakrishnan, the prime accused, have not received any help from the government. The chief minister has also not given letter of recommendation to Biju or Saritha.

The team has also confirmed that the duo has returned more than Rs. 2 crore to the clients. The team examined the bank accounts of both the accused.

The police have registered 23 cases against Biju and Saritha.

Both were being interrogated by team headed by South Zone ADGP A. Hemachandran IPS and Crime branch A.D.G.P Vincent M. Paul.
