THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Feroz, director, public relations department, facing investigation in the fraud case of Rs 40 lakhs involving Saritha S Nair, an accused in the solar panel case, has been suspended from service. A Feroz is the third accused in the case. He has been suspended following the report submitted by the public relations secretary after conducting an investigation against Feroz. The report was handed over to the government Wednesday morning.
Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan impersonating as the south zone head of Asian Development Bank (ADB) cheated Rs 40.9 lakhs from Salim Kabeer, a noted builder and industrialist, in 2009. The couple told Salim that they can help him in getting an ADB loan for windmill and various construction projects. Salim told police that it was Feroz who introduced Biju as the south zone head.
