B.Tech. in the navy


The Navy has invited applications from unmarried male candidates to join the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, under the Plus Two cadet B.Tech. entry scheme. The course starts in December.

Apply online on www.nausena-bharati.nic.in till June 20. Applicants should be Indian citizens born between July 2, 1994, and January 1, 1997 (17 to 19-and-a-half years of age) who have passed Plus Two with at least 70 per cent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 50 per cent in English in Class 10 or 12. The candidates must be physically fit, with at least 157 cm of height and correlated age-appropriate weight. Eye sight for distant vision should be 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses.

Before submitting the e-application, keep educational certificates, e-mail address, mobile-phone numbers and softcopy of a latest photograph of size less than 10 kB at hand. Fill the online registration form. On submitting the online application, the system will generate an application number, which will be displayed on the screen and in the printout of the application.

Send the signed printout by ordinary post to Post Box No. 04, R.K. Puram (Main) PO, New Delhi – 66 to reach there on or before July 1.
