THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Jikkumon Jacob, additional personal assistant of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, has resigned. He resigned following the allegations of his involvement with Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar panel case. He accompanies Chandy when he goes out of the district. His resignation has been handed over to the chief minister.
Action was not taken against Jikku even after his name was voiced along with Tenny Joppen, personal assistant of the chief minister, removed for his connection with Saritha S Nair.
