NEW DELHI: Minister K C Joseph said the government had done all that they could do to save those stranded in Uttarakhand in the heavy rains and landslips. The sanyasis should react after understanding the situation. The strike staged by them could have been avoided, he said.
23 of the 33 Keralites stranded have been traced in Uttarakhand. Search operations continue to trace the remaining 10. State’s help centre has been opened in Uttarakhand and Haridwar, he said.
