Two die of fever in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/NEDUMANGAD:  Fever has claimed the lives of two in the capital city.

Aaditya, an 11 year old, who was undergoing treatment for dengue fever at the Nedumangad taluk hospital for the past 11 days died here Friday. As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to SAT Hospital but she died. Her brother Abhiram is also undergoing treatment for dengue fever. Their father Ashokan is an attender of the same hospital. Rema is their mother. Aaditya was a seventh class student of Nedumangad Girls Higher Secondary School.

Rajan aged 44 of Aryanad died of rat fever. He died last night at the medical college hospital. With this those died of viral fever at the Nedumangad taluk has touched five. Meantime, the DMO has informed that dengue fever has claimed the lives of only two.
