Code of Conduct for CM and Ministers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state cabinet has decided to form a new code of conduct for Chief Minister and Ministers in the state on the sidelines of the solar panel scam case.

From now onwards, ministers shall not be permitted to attend the functions of private financial institutions. They can only attend functions arranged by public/co-operative financial institutions.

The Vigilance Wing should examine and ensure beforehand that nothing problematic prevails in the functions conducted by private institutions which are to be attended by Governor, Chief Minister or Ministers.

Attendance register and monitoring system will be introduced at the offices and houses of Ministers. The cabinet also decided to implement visiting hours at Chief Minister’s Office.
