THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Boys cornered the top ten ranks in engineering entrance examinations, results of which were announced Tuesday.
Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb while publishing the rank list said 75,258 students are eligible to appear for the course.
B Arjun of Kowdiar (Thiruvananthapuram), Ameer Hassan (Kozhikode), Sreerag (Kozhikode), Nithin G K of Kazhakoottam (Thiruvananthapuram) and Sreehari (Kannur) won the first five ranks.
Sharat of Alappuzha obtained the first rank in the Scheduled Caste category and Avinash of Kasargod bagged the first rank in Scheduled Tribes category.
Liz Theres of Malappuram got the first rank in the architecture category. Abhishek M R of Ernakulam and Devraj of Kasargod got second and third ranks respectively.
Students can give online options on the website of the entrance exam commissioner from this evening to June 23. The first allotment will be published on June 25. The rank list has been published in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
