THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speculations are rife that P C George will resign his MLA post after the Kerala Congress Mani Group started taking steps to disqualify him for his anti-party activities. It is rumoured that he will resign after the Aruvikkara polls. Mani Group has entrusted a three-member panel to prepare a report after examining his anti-party activities and breach of discipline.
After the Aruvikkara bypolls, the party’s executive panel will convene a meet on June 30. After holding discussions on it, the Mani Group will give a letter to the speaker seeking his disqualification. The decision of the speaker on it will be crucial. George is considering to resign if things do not favour him.
