CHANGANASSERY: NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair has said that actor Suresh Gopi visiting the NSS office was like Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan visiting slain RSP leader T P Chandrasekharan’s house. He said the actor was trying to create the impression that NSS was with the BJP.
“Suresh Gopi’s aim was to humiliate the NSS. The organisation doesn’t need anybody’s show. When Samastha Nair Samajam’s backing is there for Rajagopal, what is the need for NSS’ support? NSS is the result of many people’s hard labour and we shall not allow it to be made a platform for ‘politricks’”.
