KONNI: The death of the girls could have been averted had the police been more vigilant, said opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. Many including top officials could have been more vigilant, he said.
Talking to reporters after visiting the houses of Athira and Raji, he said the police failed in finding the three missing girls.
