THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K C Joseph came forward harshly
criticizing high court judge Alexander Thomas for his statement against
the advocate general. Justice Thomas does not know law and his statement
asking the chief minister what right he has to criticize the attorney
general shows his ignorance on laws, the minister posted in his Facebook
page.
Thomas has no right to drag the chief minister in the case not involving him.
The chief minister does not need anybody’s permission to comment for the state’s interests. Mukul Rohatgi is India’s attorney general.Doesn’t he know that India consists of centre and states? The centre is liable to protect the state’s interest in the federal system. Attorney General appearing in the Supreme Court for bar owners cannot be justified.
Judge who turned a spokesperson for the attorney general never spared the advocate general of the state. The office of the AG should not have been blamed in the open court. It should have been via the chief justice or direct to AG.
