Six Keralites among 10 Indians killed in Dubai bus accident

DUBAI: Seventeen people were killed and some were seriously injured in a road crash involving a tourist bus on Mohammad Bin Zayed road in Dubai. Six Keralites were among the ten Indians killed in the accident. Four of the Keralites have been identified. Deepak Kumar of Thiruvananthapuram, Jamaludeen of Thrissur, Vasudevan and Thilakan were identified.

The bus which met with the accident was coming to Dubai from Muscat. The bus with Oman number plate crashed into a signboard at Al Rashidiya exit. The incident happened Thursday evening at 5.40 pm at Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road. Reports say those in the bus from Oman was returning after celebrating Eid. The injured have been admitted at Rashid Hospital.
